Perai-H smartphone made by TechFaith Wireless approved by FCC for usage in USA
September 23, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
This TechFaith Wireless smartphone is actually the same model as Ubiquio 503G that is branded by Expansys / Mobile Planet... and it is already on sale through these online stores also in USA, so it is strange that only now the FCC approval documentation (including photos and user manual) transpires...
Conclusion: this smartphone from TechFaith Wireless - of code name "Perai-H" (as mentioned in user manual) - is a very good mobile phone with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard for single handed usage and even with scroll wheel. The only missing feature is built-in GPS. The fact that it has been FCC approved may mean that it will be sold in USA also under different branding than "Ubiquio"!
