HTC-made slider with VGA display and pocket-size coming soon
September 26, 2007 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R.
Photos and first specifications of formerly-unknown Windows Mobile phone has just leaked... and it looks like it will be the first HTC-made phone with 640x480 (VGA) display and small enough to fit in your pocket!
Some highlights about this Windows Mobile phone:
- it will be sold in Asia as Dopod C750 and, obviously, also elsewhere but under different names
- slide-out keyboard with double-letter keys - not exactly QWERTY keyboard but more than regular cellphone keypad
- display: VGA = 640x480 pixels, not a touch-screen! In other words it is powered by Windows Mobile 6 Standard (known formerly as MS Smartphone)
- memory card slot: micro-SD
To learn more visit original source of this story here (in Chinese but you can find several photos of this phone there).
Conclusion: while it is good to see that HTC is starting to release phones with VGA display and reasonable dimensions, hopefully also such phones with touch-screen will be released soon too.
