More photos and info available about Samsung i780 touch-screen phone with GPS

It looks like it will not be Palm Treo (as it was widely expect because Palm OS version supports this resolution) but Samsung i780 that will be the first Windows Mobile phone with enhanced display resolution of 320x320 pixels!

While specifications are still rather guesswork than something absolutely certain, after short video review and preview, more and more information is leaking about this great phone:

  • WiFi
  • GPS receiver
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR
  • memory card slot: microSD
  • display: 320x320 pixels, touch-screen!
  • dimensions: 115,9 x 61,3 x 13,3 millimeters
  • GSM: tri-band (900/1800/1900, no 850 for extended USA coverage)
  • UMTS: HSDPA, video-telephony
  • touch-pad and mouse cursor on display
  • powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional (i.e. phone edition for touch-screens)
