American wireless carrier offers webcast about Windows Mobile 6

Yes, AT&T still is commited to Windows Mobile - despite the fact that it is offering and promoting several competing devices. The AT&T Tilt (i.e. HTC Kaiser) still is not on sale, but clearly AT&T has long term plans regarding Windows Mobile if it is offering such webcast:
