TouchPal virtual keyboard for Windows Mobile released - with super effective T+ technology October 09, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. This is probably the best virtual keyboard ever! At first glance it looks like yet another SureType technology implementation - where 2 letters are located on one key:
... and then predictive mechanism is discovering what word was supposed to be typed. However it is not just that, it is much much more: ... namely the user can slide the virtual keys in various directions and get then specific effects. For example: when you slide the DF button upwards then "DF" pops up and now if you slide to the right then you will get "F" (or "f" if you activated shift by sliding "Space" button upwards). This is a completely innovative and very effective way of text entry with touch-screen only! We have tested it and it works incredibly well for both known and unknown words. This virtual keyboard is so good that now one can comfortbly claim that now Windows Mobile has better virtual keyboard then iPhone - also for finger based usage. While Pocket CM keyboard for Windows Mobile emulates Apple iPhone, the TouchPal virtual keyboard is even better than iPhone's keyboard! This is particularly important in case of phones with smaller display, where having full-QWERTY on display is a bit cumbersome. It is available for free for a limited time, so go get it now!
