Okta Agent - a smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 goes on sale in New Zealand

New Zeland, despite being quite a small country, has both GSM and CDMA networks and this smartphone is designed to work with CDMA:

When you hold the OKTA Agent, you’re holding a fully-featured business tool. It’s loaded with Windows Mobile 5.0, giving you access to your Microsoft Outlook and an email attachment viewer. Aside from Outlook, you can receive emails from your personal accounts (POP3 or IMAP4) or connect with the rest of the world using the HTML web browser.

  • Battery type: Lithium-Ion
  • Standby time: Up to 35 hours (Using Microsoft Direct Push technology)

It is not quite clear why Windows Mobile 6 is not used in this smartphone but it looks like a solid low-end phone with clamshell design.
