Office Mobile 6.1 upgrade released for Windows Mobile - now for good November 29, 2007 [General] | By Edward J. R. Microsoft has released it previously but it was pulled out, now however the download is available for good! Problem: even if you have Windows Mobile 6 you can't be sure that you have support for new Office 2007 documents (.docx, .pptx, .xlsx) but with this upgrade you can get this support! ... so that now if you would get email with Office 2007 you will be able to open it and edit it in your Windows Mobile 6 phone. If your Windows Mobile device does not have a version of Microsoft Office Mobile prior to 6.1, you can purchase the full version of Microsoft Office Mobile. The Office Mobile application suite includes Microsoft Office Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, and Microsoft Office PowerPointŪ Mobile for Windows Mobile 6 powered devices, helping users manage and review documents. Microsoft Office Mobile includes support for rich reviewing and minor editing capabilities as well as support for rights-managed documents. The primary user scenario enabled by Office Mobile is viewing e-mail attachments, performing minor edits, sharing document versions, and opening documents from an SD card or a SharePoint server.
