American retailer The Sharper Image sells Windows Mobile phone with GPS - 101TSI
December 31, 2007 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
In USA vast majority of phones are sold through wireless carriers, so a phone must be really cheap or really good, to convince potential buyers to get it. The 101TSI looks like a solid Windows Mobile 6 powered phone with built-in GPS but other than that it doesn't offer much - just a 2G phone without EDGE:
- Upgrade your "locked" SIM-card Smartphone to a Sharper Image "Unlocked" PocketPC Executive Pack — without changing anything else (phone number, service provider*, current contract).
- All you do is remove your SIM card from your current "locked" Smartphone and insert it into your new Sharper Image "Unlocked" PocketPC Executive Pack. Your SIM card will work equally well — and you'll have your new, upgraded phone!
- Cool GSM phone features a 240x320 TFT touch screen with 65K colors; 2MP camera; Internet Explorer Mobile Web browser; GPS software with built-in receiver; text messaging; Bluetooth 2.0; mini-Bluetooth headset; PDF viewer; voice recording; stylus and more.
- On-board 128MB memory with expandable Micro SD slot; supports up to 2G memory.
- Enjoy up to 7 hours talk, 240 hours standby on a single USB charge.
