Microsoft employee reviews i-mate Ultimate 8150 - also in video January 05, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. i-mate Ultimate phones with built-in GPS and QWERTY keyboard are not on sale yet, but models without GPS and QWERTY - like Ultimate 8150 are already available for purchase. Apart from VGA display the crucial unique selling point of i-mate Ultimate phones is XGA video output, that is also being tested in this review: The device itself is average in size with it's official measurements at: 118.5mm x 60.5mm x 15.5mm. The specifications are what really excite people about the new Ultimate range. The devices all come with an Intel Bulverde 520MHz Processor, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. The screen itself on the 8150 is a 2.6" VGA (640x480) Touch screen and the device also provides an XGA Out capability (1024x768) meaning you can plug the device into a screen or projector really easily. For connectivity the 8150 has Quad-Band GSM/EDGE and Tri-band support for UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 or 850/1700/2100. The 8150 also has support for WiFi 802.11b/g/e/i and Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR.
