January 06, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R.

Vodafone is a mobile operator headquartered in UK and it has its most operations in Europe. Nowadays Vodafone operates 7.2 MB/s HSDPA networks across the Europe, so it is interesting to note that several of these new phones also support this speed.

Conclusion: since Apple is not licensing its own operating system to 3rd party manufacturers and vendors, and since Linux-based Palm OS is being delayed, and Google Android is not ripe yet, we will see several new Windows Mobile phones in 2008. However the expected release dates of some of these Windows Mobile phones are disappointingly late - and thus seem to overlap with release of 3G iPhone and first Google Android phones, what may endanger their market chances... but both HP and Palm have failed to deliver any new appealing phones in 2007, so it is definitely a good news that at last they will start delivering - in 2008 (i.e. this year)!
