Another Dual-SIM Windows Mobile phone coming - from Haier January 18, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Unfortunately our reporter, who was present at CES 2008, has missed this one, but somebody has caught this information: Haier was presenting at CES a phone powered by Windows Mobile 6 that can take phone calls from 2 SIM cards simultaneously: The Windows Mobile handset may look like your average smartphone, but it ups the ante in a big way by offering double SIM card, double standby functionality. That means you'll be able to put two SIM cards in the phone, which will enable you to use the HG-N99 for two phone numbers at the same time. No, you won't be able to place calls simultaneously, but you can receive calls to both numbers at any time To learh more, please visit related CES report about this Haier phone. Conclusion: clearly there is big demand for dual-SIM phones as nowadays due to strong competition among mobile operators some of them are the best for voice and some other for data, some offer unlimited calls in one network and the others in different network, etc. ... so hopefully we will see in 2008 not only more announcements of dual-SIM phones powered by Windows Mobile but also more of them available for purchase.
