What version of Windows Mobile is Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 running ? February 16, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist? ... we wanted to say to Magnus Andersson, who was presenting to us the X1 phone (see 3rd video from top here)... because he didn't want to tell any details about this new phone. Anyway all Sony Ericsson employees were rejecting such requests... so not only it is not clear whether this phone has haptic display or not, but also which OS it is running! Fortunately now this information leaked because somebody managed to take a photo of X1 with info dialog on the display! It is official: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 (and not Windows Mobile 6.5 as it was rumored). By the way: the processor in X1 is: MSM7200A-528MHz QUALCOMM 7200A!
