Microsoft again touts Zumobi March 22, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. Why is this? After agreeing to include Zumobi in Windows Mobile operating system, now Microsoft is strongly promoting Zumobi in Microsoft's newsletters and website: Zumobi is a Windows Mobile application that delivers widgets* with content you care about to your Windows Mobile phone in a fun and innovative way. Zumobi’s widgets are called "Tiles," and they have snack-size bites of Web-based information and entertainment that you can quickly access throughout the day. Just open any of the 16 Tiles in your Zumobi zoom space and you're good to go! Plus, you can customize your zoom space with new Tiles from the Zumobi Gallery at any time. Zumobi is a free download that we've made available to you here. Your version of Zumobi will include a Tile first available only to Windows Mobile Owners Circle members, the On 10 Tile, which brings you great content from Channel 10, the online community for artists, software developers, gamers — anyone with a love of technology and the desire to yak about it. To learn more visit Microsoft's pages about Zumobi. Conclusion: by offering exclusive Zumobi content to people who signed up to Windows Mobile Owners Circle, Microsoft apparently is using Zumobi to gather email addresses of Windows Mobile phone users...
