High end Windows Mobile device from Palm coming this summer! March 23, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Tadd Rosenfeld. There was shocking news on Palm's investor relations conference call this week. The company's revenue declined 24%. However the company announced that their low priced Centro smartphone is outselling any device in the history of the company, and that they are releasing a new high end Windows Mobile device this summer. ![]() upcoming Treo We know from earlier company conference calls that high end to Palm means GPS, WiFi and new software. Palm's high end Windows Mobile devices are being manufactured largely by HTC, one of the premier ODM and OEM smartphone manufacturers in the world. HTC informed us that they are not producing a front facing qwerty GPS & WiFi Windows Mobile device under their own brand name, and we wonder if this owes to an agreement with Palm not to directly compete.
