MVP who spilled the beans about Windows Mobile 7 thrown out of the MVP programme April 19, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. He is MVP no more... Brandon Miniman (who wrote the Windows Mobile 7 article at pocketnow.com) has been sensationally thrown out of the MVP programme whilst still in Seattle at the MVP Summit conference. He broke the NDA with his article. It is not the first time a Windows Mobile MVP has been thrown out, but this time the reason is trivial: breaking NDA = Non-Disclosure Agreement that each MVP must sign. MVP = Most Valueable Professional is an award that Microsoft gives to certain people who help end users of various Microsoft products in various communities, mostly online forums and newsgroups. This award is being awarded yearly, and usually Microsoft would just not re-award it next year, but in this case Microsoft taken away MVP status from Brandon Miniman immediately... what indicates that his article really annoyed Microsoft.
