Since now more and more Windows Mobile phones have built-in GPS, GPS software is in demand... and with this program you can get GPS linked Pictures & Voice on a Google map! Information from the software vendor follows. * * * * * * PerDiem LLC ANNOUNCES PLT7C FOR WINDOWS MOBILE PLT software allows you to track your trip on a Google map and lets others locate and follow you online. Set the Pin numbers so only those that you choose can see your trip. You can turn off anyone's ability to locate you at anytime. PLT allows you to access and use your GPS/phone on-the-fly from any location connected to the Internet. Get reliable, convenient and secure access to GPS information from home or on the road. NEW PLT7 CAPABILITY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: DATA MANAGEMENT FOR OUT OF COVERAGE USE: * Avoid costly data charges, upload saved travel data usinga Sync connection or Wi-Fi. * Collect & store location packets in a file when Wi-Fi or phone coverage unavailable, upload later. * Create and store Pictures & voice along with GPS data and upload when Wi-Fi or phone coverage available PICTURES EMBEDDED IN MAPS: * Pictures can be taken, selected and uploaded to the DB. * The Pictures will be embossed with latitude/Longitude and a timestamp. * The tracking DB will create a Red/Green Icon on the Map to indicate a picture is in the Icon. * Clicking the Icon reveals a link to display the picture. * Deleting the tracking data by pin# will not remove the pictures, only the Red/Green Icon. * The web page for picture edits using your KEY is how to remove the pictures from the DB. * All pictures can be viewed on one web page using the Pin# to select the pictures. VOICE MESSAGES ATTACHED TO MAP ICONS: * Voice messages can be added to a picture (15 seconds max). * Voice messages can be added to the map without a picture. * Clicking on the Icon reveals a link to 'play' the message. * the Red/Green Icon identifies both pictures and Voice inclusion in the Icon. * Voice messages are played and deleted via the same edit page as the pictures. POI WITH PICTURE OR VOICE TAG: * Add a picture to a POI for added identification. * Add a descriptive voice message to a POI. LOCATE YOUR DEVICE AND ANOTHER DEVICE OR GROUP ON A MAP: * The last reported location of another device or a group of devices. * Buddy tracking uses Google static maps and Icons. * The static Google map snapshot can be uploaded as a picture with voice annotations.
