ceSnipURL for Windows Mobile released April 24, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. When you are browsing Internet on your Windows Mobile phone and then you would like to send given link/URL by SMS (text message) then it may be impossible if given URL is too long... and some URLs are so long that they use too much of precious place in SMS messages, which can have maximally 160 characters usually... and then ceSnipURL might be useful to you because it can shorten URLs to usable length: I created this little utility to allow me to shorten URL’s to make them more friendly for use in twitter and sms messages or mobile email, preventing links form wrapping in email helps them maintain their clickability when sending them. Using them in SMS saves you precious characters and allows more text space to describe the url your sending. You could use URL shortening services via the web but the clipboard interaction is more cumbersome than using a small utility. Features:
