Mini review of GIGABYTE GSmart MW700 published
May 01, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.

Recently we have reviewed GIGABYTE GSmart t600 with DVB-T TV (FreeView) but this time yet newer phone from GIGABYTE is being reviewed: GSmart MW700, that doesn't have DVB-T but offers instead built-in GPS:

The MW700 is a fairly typical Windows Mobile 6 Professional device, perhaps a little lighter and thinner than other devices available at the moment but does have the added benefit of built in SiRF Star III GPS, fast CPU and 256MB Rom although, frustratingly, only 64MB of RAM which does mean the unit struggles from time to time.

It's still not clear whether or not the device will be officially released here in the UK

It looks like MW700 comes in the same box and has the same construction as t600 but just offers a bit different buttons and built-in GPS.
