Out and about - going to HTC event in London today !

While we strive to provide broad coverage of events on both sides of the pond - USA and Europe - our focus is on depth and multimedia (both video and high-quality audio) rather than on live delivery.

Nonetheless we will provide a live coverage of today's HTC event to a certain extent:

Please go to twitter.com/msmobiles and, after free registration, click on "Follow"! If you will register your mobile phone there, then you will be even able to receive our updates live through SMS (text messages). Otherwise just go to twitter.com/msmobiles and refresh the page there!

Here is what is expected at today's HTC event:
  • at least one new Windows Mobile phone announced - HTC Diamond
  • several mobile operator deals announced - operators that will be selling HTC Diamond either branded or with HTC's own brand
  • (not of interest to us) mobile phones from HTC powered by Google Android
  • next generation of HTC's extension for improved finger-based navigation - HTC TouchFLO 2 code-name "HTC Manila"
  • release date of HTC Diamond announced - there are rumors that it can be even this month (i.e. May 2008!)
  • several HTC employees from all over the world, including Taiwan and USA, will be present
