Yahoo still incompetent about Windows Mobile: Yahoo! Go 3.0 released May 07, 2008 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. We remember times when Yahoo hated (literally!) Microsoft so much, that they were offering Yahoo! Go only for Symbian, but not for Windows Mobile. Later it has changed and Yahoo has warmed up to the Microsoft, but it is clear that Yahoo still is not competent about Windows Mobile: If you enter inside of your Windows Mobile phone without touch-screen this URL: mobile.yahoo.com/go then you can get Yahoo! GO 3.0, but if do it with your Windows Mobile phone with touch-screen, then you can get only Yahoo! Go 2.0 ... although actually (Yahoo doesn't know it!) one can run applications designed for Windows Mobile phones without touch-screens in Windows Mobile phones with touch-screens! List of new features in version 3.0: A new way to start The new Yahoo! home widget gives you an at-a-glance overview of what’s new since your last visit, plus previews of your favorite Internet content. Improved oneSearch Now updated with up-to-date flight information as well as content from Yahoo! Answers and Wikipedia, so you can get the answers you need to virtually any question. Enhanced design & navigation Visually stunning new look & feel offering a choice of navigational views – either the traditional carousel or the new icon layout. More customization Now you decide what’s in your Yahoo! Go. Add or delete widgets at anytime according to your unique tastes. Conclusion: good that Microsoft has given up on takeover of Yahoo corporation!
