Video : chit-chat with Horace Luke from HTC May 08, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Previously we have published audio recording of our chit-chat with Horace Luke from HTC, but this time we present Horace Luke in video - albeit only a short one (10 minutes, rationale: our SDHC memory card was full!). The newly released HTC Touch Diamond has a stand-alone YouTube application (developed by HTC in cooperation with Google, that now owns YouTube) and Horace Luke was demonstrating this application and smooth YouTube playback during the main presentation at HTC event on May 6th 2008, so it is only proper that we present video recording with him also through YouTube: Horace Luke is a design guru with a title "Chief Innovation Officer", and a creative mind behind the HTC Touch Diamond. The "high fashion design" was the primary objective in development of HTC Touch Diamond and it was Horace Luke, who has shaped this design and Peter Chou (CEO of HTC) relies on Horace Luke in all design matters. * * * * * Coming up: full video recording of the main part of HTC event - the presentation with participation of 4 HTC employees, representatives of Microsoft and Orange and a FAQ session (if you can't wait for this video - just listen to audio version here).
