HTC Diamond goes to USA with FCC ID NM8DMS and model name DIAM100 May 09, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. All phones that will be sold in USA must go first throug type approval at FCC... So when will HTC Touch Diamond land in USA? This is the answer: August 15, 2008! This is the date until which HTC requested confidentiality. Note that HTC Touch Diamond is tri-band GSM and dual-band UMTS (HSDPA and HSUPA work over UMTS) so special American version will be shipped to USA - different than European/Asian version of HTC Touch Dimaond.
