Mio possibly to present Windows Mobile phones with SirfInstantFix II technology at Computex 2008 next month May 22, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Taiwanese company Mio has become succesful thanks to sales of their GPS navigation systems for cars (PND = Personal Navigation Devices). Apart from that they produce also Windows Mobile phones that benefit from Mio's competence in GPS area. Next month, June 3-7, 2008, the most important Taiwanese computer technology trade show takes place: Computex 2008, so it is possible that Mio (and other Taiwanese manufacturers!) will be presenting there new Windows Mobile phones! Most of all Mio will be presenting there SirfInstantFix II technology and their new MioMore feature that connects GPS devices to the Internet... that both may end up in Windows Mobile phones made by Mio! Mio Press Conference is on June 3, 15:00-15:40 at Mio's booth that is located at Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC, until recently the highest building int he world) Hall 1, Booth A32, in Taipei, Taiwan.
