First video review of final version of HTC Touch Diamond published by Mobility Today June 03, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. It is not an engineering sample or some prototype, but final version of HTC touch Diamond - as it is sold now in Asia and will be soon available in Europe: The unit we will be reviewing is a final production European release Diamond. Unfortunately many in the USA were under the assumption this phone would work in the USA but they in fact cant. This phone specifically runs on the 900 and 2100 Mhz bands for 3G which clearly in the USA we do not have. Users should also note that majority of AT&T customers will not even be able to obtain an Edge connection, TMobile users will obtain an Edge connection. Not the best scenario so we suggest you sit back for a while and wait for the US release to hit all of your local Best Buys. To watch it, visit: video review of HTC Touch Diamond. Note: Asian/European version of HTC Touch Diamond does not support American wireless bands: both 3G bands and one (850) 2G band, so we recommend to users in USA to wait till American version of HTC Touch Diamond will go on sale before purchasing it!
