HTC Touch Diamond on sale online already in several countries! June 03, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. What is going on? Grey unofficial imports or regular shipments? Should you buy or should you wait? One can purchase HTC Touch Diamond already (with phones in stock!) in several stores, including Decho Wireless (USA) and eXpansys (but only in divisions of this store in Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, Singapore, South Africa and UK). However the question remains whether these are grey unofficial imports with no official support from HTC? You can read more about it at Cool Smartphone and here is just a quote: these units appear to be "grey" imports, which means that UK warranties wouldn't apply. HTC are apparently less than happy about the situation Our advice: don't buy yet, wait till official availability will commence!
