Cooked ROM makes quad-band GSM out of tri-band HTC Touch Diamond

It is not official and we do not recommend to use it..
Officially situation looks like this:
- American version of HTC Touch Diamond is not on sale yet
- some Americans imported European/Asian version of HTC Touch Diamond phones that do not support American 3G and American GSM850 band
- officially there is no such thing as quad-band HTC Touch Diamond
Here thanks to a cooked ROM prepared by Windows Mobile enthusiasts, it seems that it is possible to activate GSM850 band in those imported HTC Touch Diamond phones... however of course it does not apply to 3G and the best one can get is EDGE and it is not even needed in all areas because not all areas use 850 band. All in all we do not recommend this ROM upgrade... and we warmly ask all Americans to wait for American version of HTC Touch Diamond that will support all American bands, both GSM (2G) and 3G (HSDPA/UMTS).
