HTC touts HTC Touch Diamond phone as a weather prediction machine August 10, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Big advertisements of HTC Touch Diamond are running British press nowadays and interestingly the wonderful feature of weather prediction, so important in British isles, is touted as the main feature of HTC Touch Diamond: 
When it comes to these advertisements, interestingly one can notice also: ... that they contain logos of Windows Mobile and Orange (a mid-size European operator) so one might suspect that both Microsoft and Orange are contributing to these advertising campaigns. In any case the HTC Touch Diamond is an amazing phone and with latest ROM version it really is fast and apart from software it features also very high quality camera and very sensitive GPS receiver combined with high-resolution display (2 times more pixels than iPhone's display). The only disadvantage of HTC Touch Diamond in our view is lack of standard 3.5 mm stereo headset connector, what really annoying on one side, considering that this phone is supposed to be "multimedia player" phone (4GB internal memory!) but is uncommon yet among mobile phone manufacturers, that want to earn money by selling accessories...
