Microsoft teasing again: Live Mesh client for Windows Mobile sighted in Oz September 05, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. Microsoft is demoralizing people by showing at various trade shows and conferences various applications for Windows Mobile but not releasing them after for years... The same was with Xbox Live client, Silverlight, IE with desktop-class rendering engine... and now the same is with Live Mesh client. Maybe Steve Ballmer should tell Microsoft employees to stop annoying Windows Mobile users? After all many of them are abandoning Windows Mobile for the sake of iPhone and why should they put up with additional teasing from Microsoft? Live Mesh is Microsoft's answer to Apple's Mobile Me - an online storage for files with ability to upload/download files in various devices. As of now Microsoft is offering clients for Mac and PC, but not for Windows Mobile.. At the Microsoft TechEd Australia 2008 conference keynote this morning, Dr. Neil and Amit Mital teased a very quick preview of the Live Mesh application running on a Windows Mobile Palm Treo Pro which should be publicly available in the coming months.
