iVisit released - video conferencing for Windows Mobile and desktop ! September 17, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. Unlike 3G video calling available in Windows Mobile phones operating in Europe and Japan - but not in USA, this application makes it possible to make video conferencing over Internet - also in USA! (note: 3G video calling runs over cellular networks, not over Internet)
Eyal Binshtock from iVisit LLC writes to us: iVisit has launched a public beta of our ground breaking multiparty audio/video conferencing application for mobile devices and desktops. With iVisit, you can use your Windows Mobile phone or Windows/Mac desktop to connect to other iVisit users and communicate face-to-face from anywhere, transmit live video of your surroundings, and host or attend online meetings. iVisit works cross platform and cross carrier, enabling mobile-to-desktop, mobile-to-mobile, and desktop-to-desktop connectivity. Features include live video conferencing with up to 8 users, push-to-talk, text messaging, and the ability to record and share audio, photo, and video messages. Additionally, Location Based Services make it possible for a mobile user to broadcast their GPS position for a remote desktop user to locate and track. You can read more on our website, www.iVisit.com. The beta client for Windows Mobile and desktop can be downloaded for free at www.ivisit.com/main_download.
