Launch event for HTC Touch HD October 01, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Most launch events of Windows Mobile powered phones made by HTC took place in London, EU, but where will be the launch event of HTC Touch HD phone - the best Windows Mobile phone of all times? The answer is: nowhere! HTC writes on their Twitter account in reply to question from us: The Touch HD is going on sale soon in many European countries, there may be local celebrations, but no big launch event. Twitter is the only micro-blogging service that offers sending and receiving updates through SMS/texting (outside of USA: only sending, receiving only over Internet). Conclusion: HTC gets it! Now big corporations like Comcast (USA) are pro-actively giving support to users through Twitter and even big main stream media organizations like CNN are interacting with listeners through Twitter. So if you have questions to HTC, just sign up to Twitter, and ask them by writing " @htc [your question here] ".
