Here comes a very innovative application for Windows Mobile that uses GPS and uses not only SMS/texting and email but also Twitter and Facebook! Amazing! More information from the software vendor follows. * * * * * The Windows Mobile GPS application recently launched its latest version, 1.1.2. This application uses technology to bring back "common" courtesy. It also uses GPS proactively. Lastly, privacy is respected. An Oops I’m Late! implementation can allow one to communicate w/others using a variety of methods: SMS/text, email, phone and now Twitter and Facebook. Oops I’m Late! also allows for public or private updates without being distracted while driving. Using a familiar calendar interface like Microsoft Outlook or Yahoo! Zimbra, a user who synchronizes w/their phone can create their messages using appointments in their schedule. When the user is on their way to their destination, the message can be automatically sent or sent based on ETA. The highlights added, briefly:
