CORRECTION: Andy Lees not fired, still boss of Windows Mobile October 16, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. We were wrong in suggesting, that Andy Lees has been fired and replaced by Terry Myerson. In reality the situation is as follows: Terry Myerson in fact will report to Andy Lees. There is no change in Andy's status as head of the business. This is a good sign of the additional talent that the Windows Mobile division is attracting from inside and outside the company. In other words this information still is valid: Andrew Lees serves as senior vice president of Microsoft's Mobile Communication Business, which includes Windows Mobile software and Live mobile services. His responsibilities include guiding Microsoft's global mobile communications strategy for business and consumer customers. In that role, Lees oversees the development, marketing and sales of Microsoft software and services for mobile devices worldwide. Credit: Mark Mohammadpour from Weber Shandwick.
