Excellent news for Windows Mobile: Adobe promises Flash 10 for Windows Mobile ! November 17, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. In our video review of Internet Explorer Mobile 6 we have noticed, that it works fine with YouTube full version (with Flash!) but not with JibJab because the later requires Flash 9. Now however Adobe, makers of Flash technology, confirms that not just Flash 9, but even the very latest Flash 10 is coming to Windows Mobile: We will be showing the first delivery of Flash on mobile phones, on other platforms. You will see it on Windows Mobile. Microsoft, if you recall, was also early to adopt Flash Lite for Windows Mobile, despite its parallel development of Flash-competitor Silverlight. Commentary: already in near future the Internet Explorer Mobile 6 is coming to many Windows Mobile phone - with a bit older version of Flash (but still working perfectly with YouTube) but in second half of next year the very latest version of Flash will be available for Windows Mobile too, meaning: also advanced Flash-based sites like JibJab will be usable in Windows Mobile!
