Sirius XM Radio player for Windows Mobile released December 01, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Updated: screenshots added! If proxy servers at your office are blocking Sirius XM Radio streaming, then why not using your Windows Mobile phone to stream it independently (note: unlimited data plan is recommended then)?
More info and more screenshots of this application:
This app is for listening sirius xm Radio, this is not a free service, you will need a valid xm account I have compiled it for Windows Mobile 2003, so It should run in any device and Windows Mobile version including Samsung Omnia of course. Just run the cab, if you have problems with it, copy the attached settings.xml (remove the txt extension first) file into the application folder To learn more, visit related related thread about Sirius XM Radio player for Windows Mobile. Commentary: recently satellite radio systems Sirius and XM merged into one, but still many people have accounts either for Siriur or for XM, so in reality this player is more of an XM Radio player, than Sirius player, but since nowadays on XM also several Sirius channels are available, the distinction is not that obvious. Previously a Sirius player for Windows Mobile was available, but it stopped working, so it is good to see this new development although it is mostly interesting for XM radio users...
