Microsoft Mobius 2008 part 2 takes place next week in Seattle December 04, 2008 [General] | By Edward J. R. Sometimes this event takes place only once a year and sometimes it is 2 times a year. Apparently Microsoft must have something to show: ... because next week (starting December 8, 2008) Microsoft is organizing it already second time this year! Note: most sessions at Mobius are NDA-protected, i.e. secret, but sometimes Microsoft and HTC are using this event to release some major news story. Our guesses regarding, what will be shown by Microsoft at Microsoft Mobius 2008 part 2: Windows Mobile 6.1.4 with new Internet Explorer Mobile 6 - it is certain as emulator with this version has been already released Windows Mobile 6.5 and/or Windows Mobile 7 - next major version of Windows Mobile Zune for Windows Mobile ? Microsoft's first hardware foray into mobile phones: Microsoft entering hardware market too, probably wiht Zune software in it some announcements from Microsoft partners explanation whether it is true, that Internet Explorer Mobile 6 is coming only to new phones, not in upgrades SkyMarket - an app store for Windows Mobile Note: next major events where Microsoft will be making big public (not secret) announcements regarding Windows Mobile will be either CES 2009 at the beginning of January (less likely) or Mobile World Congress in February (more likely).
