Palm will announce something big at CES 2009 December 11, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Not only Microsoft will be unveiling something new at CES 2009! (Microsoft is rumored to unveil there their Zune phone - for USA only - first hardware foray of Microsoft into mobile phone industry - with accelerometer and with music service on it) CES 2009 - the biggest Consume Electronics Show in USA - takes place January 8-11 2009, and it looks like Palm will reveal something major there too: Several journalists and online writers have received invitation to an event that takes place 11:00am, what indicates major announcement (rather than evening time, that indicates a schmoozing party only). The content of this invitiation is: Yep, it's that time. Come to CES to see all the Palm New-ness you've been waiting for By Invitation Only What it could be? Most likely: the first Palm smartphone powered by their new operating system Nova - next generation Palm OS. However we think that there are other possibilities:
