New version of Pocket Informant released December 17, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Life management program for your Windows Mobile phone! More information from the software vendor follows. * * * * * Our flagship version - Pocket Informant for Windows Mobile has had a really nice big update - version 8.51. This version focuses on some major Task View improvements, better Touch mode, a full T12 search including European characters, bringing back the Birthday/Anniversary Filter, rewriting the entire Contacts View to use a two-phase data read for major performance improvements (old way is still available) and major improvements to the Journal and Events View. There are many major improvements in this release and what's most important of all is that we focused on making Pocket Informant even easier to use. Our goals this past year have focused on streamlining usability and we've done a lot of that in this release. Major Improvements in 8.51 from 8.0
