Internet Explorer Mobile 6 available for download December 19, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. There is a catch though... ... and the catch is: it is available only for HTC Touch HD! To get it visit download page of ROM image for HTC Touch HD with Internet Explorer Mobile 6 (it must be kosher as it is published by a Microsoft MVP in Windows Mobile area). Note: you must download whole ROM image and upgrade your phone with it, as this browser is not available as separate download. Since it is not clear which manufacturer will release ROM upgrade with this browser, and it may well be that some phones will never ever get this browser officially, one must rely on cooked ROM images, available usually only for HTC-manufactured devices...
