British TV says: HTC Touch HD better than iPhone 3G, BlackBerry Storm and T-Mobile G1 December 24, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Jon Bentley from "The Gadget Show" that airs on British TV channel "Five" (private broadcasting corporation = much more reliable than BBC) has tested various smartphones and concluded that HTC Touch HD is the best: Apparently after elimination of other smartphones, in the latest phase, HTC Touch HD has beaten iPhone 3G due to having longer battery life. We have been repeating it many times, but it is obvious by now: HTC Touch HD is the best Windows Mobile phone currently on the market. Of course when it comes to comparisons with other platforms, it does not offer multi-touch, so it is not obviously better or worse than other phones. Even without capacitive display however - it still has a very responsive touch-screen ... so its huge display (physically bigger than iPhone's and having 2.5 times more pixels than iPhone's) combined with many other powerful features, makes it one of the best smartphones currently on the market. Is it really the best? We don't know, judge for yourself by watching the video: The original video of this episode can be found here (official website of this TV channel): http://fwd.five.tv/videos/jon-tests-smart-phones.
