Glofiish X900 Reviewed, Glofiish DX900 now gets official home page December 24, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Something is going on - out there at E-TEN (company purchased recently by Acer): Firstly the dual-SIM Windows Mobile phone Glofiish DX900 gets official home page (previously it was only mentioned in press release, but had no home page): http://www.glofiish.com/index9.htm?no=dx900 ... what may indicate that it is going on sale also in Western Europe (recently Glofiish DX900 went on sale in Russia). Furthermore a a multi-page review of Glofiish X900 has been published, a quote: The 3 Mega pixel camera along with the LED flash has become quite normal these days for pocket pc devices but the picture clarity glofiish x900 gives is awesome when compared to the other devices sporting cameras of the same range. For example, we took a shot with glofiish x900 and the HTC Touch Diamond side-by-side at the same time under same lighting conditions and also with the settings at maximum quality capture and it's interesting to see that glofiish x900 gave a better picture. Interestingly this phone also has G-sensor (aka tilt sensor aka accelerometer) but since Windows Mobile still has no common API for tilt sensor (we demanded it from Microsoft several times during interviews with Microsoft employees), tilt sensor applications from HTC phones cannot be re-used.
