T-Mobile MDA Basic unveiled
January 15, 2009 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.

CeBIT will take place in March 2009 (in 2 months; we will be there on location) but already know German companies are getting ready. Today in Munich, in south Germany, a CeBIT preview event took place where T-Mobile has unveiled T-Mobile MDA Basic - a cheap Windows Mobile phone that will be offered in prepaid kit for mere 200 Euro (= 260 US dollars). Note: CeBIT is 3 times bigger than CES - it is a huge massive trade show.

Features:
  • powered by Windows Mobile 6.1
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • 320x240 pixel touch-screen display
  • HTC TouchFLO user interface
  • WiFi and EDGE but no 3G
  • availability: February 2009
