Fring for Windows Mobile now available with extended Twitter support March 30, 2009 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Fring is a program that enables instant messaging (I.M.) and voice over IP (VoIP) though various services at once - in one program. However we don't like Fring because you need to have account in Fring service and you cannot use only credentials from various services to which you connect through Fring. Anyway Fring has just released new version with extended support for Twitter: In line with your feedback and the phenomenal explosion of Twitter, we’ve just released an all new Twitter 2.0 Add-on for fring, with stacks of new features to excite your fingers and thumbs even more. You can view other Twitter profiles, check-out your own followers and see who’s following you. Finally, something that loads of you have asked for, you can switch-off the beep sound when you receive Tweets, so it will just Twitter away silently without interrupting you every couple of seconds. There are two ways to get your hands on the new Twitter 2.0 Add-on… If you have a Windows Mobile, just go to the Add-ons tab inside fring, unsubscribe from the old Twitter & re-subscribe to the new Add-on. To learn more, visit www.fring.com.
