Windows Mobile 6.5 is completed ... Microsoft says on Twitter May 18, 2009 [General] | By Edward J. R. ... and although it may mean that internally Microsoft ended working on Windows Mobile 6.5 and it achieved status RTM (ready to manufacture) the reality is that neither Windows Mobile 6.5 emulator nor Windows Mobile 6.5 SDK (i.e. developer kit) haven't been released yet... Microsoft wrote on Twitter: For the record, Windows Mobile 6.5 is DONE... complete... looks really good IOHO and every bit functional. ping us if u want to know more. Apart from the missing SDK and emulator, there was also no official press release about this Windows Mobile 6.5 being completed.... but according to our estimations first phones with Windows Mobile 6.5 will go on sale around September 2009 and manufacturers need usually 3 months for integration so the calculation seems to be correct: Microsoft is now shipping final version of Window Mobile 6.5 and if some manufacturers will hurry, we might see Windows Mobile 6.5 even earlier than expected...
