Toshiba TG01 delayed June 20, 2009 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Difficult to say who is to blame, but we guess that... 
... but we guess that O2 is to blame: it has promised that Toshiba TG01 will be on sale "middle of June" (and we have already more like "the end of June") and it still is not on sale! Description from O2: The Toshiba TG01 comes along with more than one superlative. In addition to the big 4.1 inch display (10.4 cm), the 1 GHz processor of the device is the most powerful processor currently available in all smart phones. Toshiba based the development of the display on the company's experience in LCD TV. The result: pin sharp pictures in brilliant colours. The special clou: The smart phone is based on Windows Mobile and can be controlled by gestures. Users, for example, answer calls by shaking the mobile phone. And, they are able to navigate between open applications by tilting the phone to the right or the left. Commentary: we really hope that Toshiba TG01 will not share the same destiny as Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 that was announced early but delayed and later sales of Xperia X1 appeared to be very low. Toshiba TG01 is a very impressive phone with huge display but it doesn't have 3.5 mm stereo miniplug so it is not ideal...
