In podcasts - audio files in MP3 format accessible also through RSS feeds - you can find also information not available at all at websites in textual form. Apart from that, by listening to podcasts, you are getting fast overview of the latest news and stories.
Unlike Internet videos, or unlike videos in general, you can listen to podcasts and do other stuff like walking the dog, working out in gym, commuting and even working. So you don't lose your time but you just better utilize your time when you are listening to podcasts!
