Home Screen Refreshed app for Windows Mobile without touch screen - released October 21, 2009 [MS Smartphone] | By Edward J. R. In this era of touch screen phones, when even basic regular phones tend to have touch screens, it is nice that Windows Mobile offers also phones without touch screen. Long-yeare Windows Mobile developer JGUI writes: Maybe this is nothing special, but I've just made a new Home Screen refreshed replacement. For Windows Phone, and Windows Mobile phone Standard editions with landscape screens. (6.5. tested.) It gives 3 screens: clock, calendar, weather forecast in very easy navigation. Maybe it's small thing only, but it's useful in Windows smartphones. More: www.jgui.net/homescr/ Commentary: if you use Windows Mobile Standard phone, i.e. the one without touch-screen, you will appreciate this app/program. The problem is that nowadays majority of phones powered by Windows Mobile are equipped with touch screen, so probably not many developers are writing software especially for this version of Windows Mobile...
