Windows phones in the first in the world Microsoft Store - first-hand report October 22, 2009 [General] | By Edward J. R. Today, in Scottsdale, Arizon, Microsoft has opened the first in the world brick-and-mortar Microsoft Store, where, among others, also some Windows phones are on display here (to the left side of MiFi and mobile broadband USB sticks):

See also this video with video tour of the store: Commentary: Microsoft is imitating Apple. While Apple is making both hardware and software, Microsoft is making mostly software, so the concept of Microsoft Store in brick and mortar form may not be that succesful. Microsoft even has imitation of "genius bar" from Apple Store and it is aptly called "Guru bar". It is good to see that Windows phones are present in the Microsoft Store, but the question remains: how much support will users of Windows phones really receive from Microsoft if they will appear in Microsoft Store with their Windows Mobile phones?
