Vaporware news: mobile phone powered by Windows XP gets new fancy User Interface

We are not sure if this phone will ever go on sale, despite the fact that this Chinese company is accepting pre-orders. However if you would like have a mobile phone powered by Microsoft software, with ability to run all regular PC applications, then this phone might be something for you.

New user interface of Windows XP phone looks nice and you can add shortcuts to the phone menu:

Short description of this phone:

Pocketable mobile internet terminal integrating mobile phone, GPS and laptop computer into one
  • 4.8 inch touch screen;
  • VGA output to 1920 * 1200 resolution;
  • Keyboard: Double-thumb input greatly improves your speed to write a message or e-mail, which is more than 3 times faster than normal mobile phone input. After a period of use, your touch typing speed on xpPhone can reach up to 90% of that on a desktop computer;
  • Input method: xpPhone supports 5-stroke input, Google Chinese Pinyin input method and etc.
