Commentary:
  • this is stupid that Microsoft has session about building mobile websites as the browser in Windows Phone 7 Series should be able to view regular desktop websites properly - as it is in case of iPhone and Android - but apparently the new browser will also be not good enough to view full desktop websites and that's why a session about building mobile websites!

  • what is this "Windows Phone Marketplace will revolutionize distribution of Windows Phone applications"? What about "Windows Marketplace for Mobile"? Does it mean that new marketplace will be good and old is very bad? Apparently so!

  • unfortunately it seems certain now: no native apps for Windows Phone 7 Series! Only XNA and Silverlight - 2 .NET-based technologies that easily can be decoded and source code stolen

  • one good thing: XNA for Windows Phone 7 Series will support 3D games. XNA for Zune HD was supporting only 2D games.
