Arabic support for MS Smartphone available
July 03, 2003 [MS Smartphone] | By anonymous 1.
If you bought your i -Mate™ Smartphone in Dubai in June 2003 you can now download a free upgrade to enable Arabic support. [...]You can now configure your i -Mate™ Smartphone to use either English with Arabic support, or full Arabic. This is done by navigating to Settings, then to Regional Settings (follow the pictorial steps 1 to 7 above). You will need to set both the Language and Locale to support Arabic. You can revert the language back to English in these settings as well.
Click here to download the upgrade for MS Smartphone to get Arabic language support.
Please note, that the name of the phone being sold in Arab countries - i-Mate - sounds the same as "i-Mate" on the smartphone, that Arne Hess sells here. The graphical logo also looks the same... we don´t know however what are the connections, if any, between the two.
